Registration is available by the workshop or by the day. The first workshop is 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. The second workshop is 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. There is a lunch break at 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm for folks who are registered for both workshops.
Yes, there is a discount for groups of three (3) or more participants per workshop. The group rate is $50/person with a maximum of 5 people.
All materials used are included in the cost of the workshop.
Refreshments and beverages are available during the workshops and are included in the cost. Refreshments include a variety of fruits, vegetables, crackers, cheeses, dried fruits, nuts, granola, snack bars, sparkling waters, teas, coffee. Individual preferences are taken into consideration, as well as participants’ dietary needs. Participants are welcome to bring snacks and beverages from home.
Please provide 24 hours advance notice (per enrolled date) to cancel workshops. Cancellations with 24 hours notice may be rescheduled within the following 30 days.
Notifications of Program Cancellation Days due to weather, health, or other unforeseen circumstances will be sent out by email or text message at the earliest possible convenience. Participants may call in advance to check for weather closings. (720) 592-1481
The program keeps emergency personal care products on hand, however, participants should bring personal care products needed regularly throughout the day. Feel free to discuss any concerns with the program director.
Registration is required. Drop-in visits are not available at this time.
When registering for workshops, a link is provided to make payment by card or PayPal.
Requirements for Participation in the Program:
- Participant is able to perform all Activities of Daily Living independently or with minimal direction and/or minimal physical assistance.
- Participant is continent or wears protective undergarments.
- Participant can manage restroom needs with minimal assistance.
- Participant is able to communicate needs, verbally or physically.
- Participant is not combative, physically or verbally.
- Participant does not have outbursts or disruptive tendencies.
- Participant does not wander; is able to remain in the program area.
- Participant is appropriately dressed and hygienic.
- Participant has no contagious diseases/illnesses.
- Participant is responsive to most aspects of the program and is a willing participant.
The cost to register for a workshop is $61. Groups of 3 – 5 people are discounted to $50/person. Please contact the program director to schedule a group workshop.
There is a ground level entrance on Main Street with elevator access to Suite 250 on the second floor. There is a parking space for disabilities behind the building (turn into the alley directly behind 908 Main St.).
