Her beautiful intention was and currently remains, to give the elderly a sense of purpose and renewed interest in their lives.
Honestly, I don't remember why I first contacted her and left her a message. However, two years later, she called me back.
It was one of those miracle things because I so enjoyed chatting with her on the phone and because it had been two years since I had first left a message, she offered me one of her classes as a complementary gift.
As a gal who loves quality facial products and uses them twice daily, her Minuka-honey face mask totally appealed to me.
I entered a small space where there were two of us and Jocelyn had laid out all the supplies and tools that we needed to make the nourishing face masks.
Jocelyn Is the most nurturing and sweet, loving soul who made the class fun, easy and so enjoyable.
She sent us both home with a small jar of absolutely delicious Minuka-honey face mask.
You can bet I will be back for more classes!

My mom has moderate Alzheimer’s Disease and we have been looking for a place for her to be around others and continue to be creative with some gentle kindness. We found the perfect place.

I have now participated in two watercolor workshops offered by Dr. Jocelyn Brown through the Silver Wings Arts Program and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Dr. Brown encouraged us to make the subject our own, not just copy it, and helped us to achieve a vision even when it wasn’t very clear to us at the outset. Her spirit of affirmation helped build confidence in the process. She made practical suggestions (never criticisms) and illustrated techniques. Although I am a raw beginner at this art form, she made me feel that I was accomplishing something worthwhile.Because of her positive attitude towards our efforts, we felt comfortable sharing with the other participants, which let us appreciate the variety of approaches we had taken to a common subject—a skill we can all bring into the world beyond our easels. I will certainly look for more opportunities to work under Dr . Brown’s tutelage. She never used her title beyond introducing herself with it, so her expertise didn’t hang over our heads. I’d heartily encourage anyone who wants to explore their artistic potential to make the journey with Jocelyn.

I was very impressed with Dr. Brown.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attended my first Silver Wings art session. It had been years since I'd drawn and it felt so good to open up that creative part of myself again. It was fun & relaxing & also nice to meet others & feel connected as we surprised ourselves to see what ended up on the paper. I think Silver Wings Arts Program is a great option for people to try new things, be sociable & connect with others.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm writing as Rose Khubchandani. I attended a water color landscape workshop and brought two friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience of painting with water colors outdoors on beautiful afternoon. No experience was needed. We just dabbled and enjoyed the fun of experimentation. All materials were provided - the paints, canvas, brushes, and candy treats. We look forward to taking more workshops at the Silver Wings Arts Program. Try a workshop, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Silver Wings Arts Program has been such a positive addition to Boulder County for me. The program offers a thoughtful and engaging environment for elder day care, with classes that help participants stay active and involved through meaningful day-to-day activities. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into creating opportunities that are both stimulating and enjoyable.

Their dedication really shows in the quality of the experience and the way participants are treated with dignity and respect.

If you’re looking for a supportive and enriching place for a loved one, Silver Wings Arts Program is a wonderful option
